Farm settings

To access the farm-level settings of Virto Multiple File Check-In in SharePoint On-Premises, follow these steps:

Using Central Administration:#

1. Open the SharePoint Central Administration site.
   • This is typically accessible at a URL like http://<server-name>:<port-number> (e.g., http://sharepoint1:15000) if it was set up on the default port.
2. On the home page, in the Virto Multiple File Operations settings section, click Virto Multiple File Check-In Settings.

Alternative Access:#

If you are unable to locate the Central Administration site:

1. Use the Windows Start menu, search for SharePoint Central Administration, and open it.
2. Navigate to the settings as described above.

The options are the same as on the site level, without “Always follow farm settings”:

• the list types where the command is shown: All, Generic, Library, Tasks, Calendar (clear “All” to choose). For example, clearing “Generic” hides the button in lists;
• Item Count, Enable CAML view, Enable filter view, Show file size, Show links on files;
• Panel appearance — see Settings levels and panel appearance.

The default view type is set on the list level.
