Basic Fields’ Parameters
In List settings → Create column, enter the column name and choose Virto Cross-Site Lookup Selector. Then fill out the fields in Additional Column Settings:
- Description — description of the column.
- Source Site Url — the address of the site with the source list: the same site collection, another site collection or another web application. Click Refresh to load the lists of the site. Use Web Service — read the source through a web service.
- Source List and Display Column — the list and the column whose values are offered (for example, the “Country-City” list and its Country column).
- Allow multiple values, Remove duplicate items — see Multiple Values and Duplicate Values.
- Add a column to show each of these additional fields — adds columns with other fields of the selected item.
- Show other columns — fields shown next to the value on the item view form, managed with Add, Up, Down and Remove; see Additional Columns.
- Filters options — None or List View (offer only the items of a view).
- Field dependent options — see Field Dependence Options.
- Convert — see Conversion of Standard Lookup to Virto Lookup.
