Field Dependence Options

You can define field dependence to set relation between the columns. In Field dependent options, select Make this a dependent column, then choose:

Source list filter column — the column of the source list whose value must match;
Current list trigger column — the column of this list that the user fills in first.

For example, the City column takes its values from the source list “Cities”, which has a Country column. Set Source list filter column to Country and Current list trigger column to Country: after the user selects a country, only the cities of that country are offered.
