Upgrading the Virto Kanban Board web part

If you already use the Virto Kanban Board web part and need to upgrade it to the latest version, download the package from the Kanban Board product page.

To upgrade the Virto Kanban Board web part, run the setup program (SetupSE.exe for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, Setup.exe for other SharePoint versions) under the farm administrator account (right-click the file and choose “Run as administrator”).

Then select the “Upgrade” checkbox and click “Next.”

Wait for the product to upgrade.

Click “Close” to complete the upgrade.

Instead of the setup program, you can run Deploy.ps1 from the package in the SharePoint Management Shell: if the solution is already installed, the script updates it. The package also contains Virto License Manager in the Virto.WebLicenseManager folder; see Installing and updating the License Manager.
