To start using the Virto SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part on modern SharePoint 2019 sites or pages, please follow these steps or read the ReadMe_SPFX_ModernSites.txt if provided.
To install the SPFx web part, run the Setup.exe file as administrator under the farm administrator account.
Create an App Catalog in your SharePoint if necessary: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/administration/manage-the-app-catalog.
The .sppkg file will be automatically uploaded to "Apps for SharePoint." Now you can add the web part on the modern pages or sites.
Please do not use the service administrative account to install and activate the SPFx web part on your sites

The Bulk File Download web part for SharePoint is an easy-to-install and easy-to-use component for downloading multiple files from SharePoint 2019 (SE), 2016, and 2013 document libraries as a single .zip archive to store on your local disk. With Bulk File Download by Virto, you can download files of any size from SharePoint. You can also set limits for archive size available for download to reduce the load on your company network.

The expected outage time is from two minutes to several hours, depending on your hardware and the number of SharePoint sites. However, we recommend all Virto users upgrade or install the web part on a weekend.
Before you begin, ensure you have access to the server. Your account must have the appropriate administrative privileges to install applications.
The Virto Bulk File Download setup program provides links to the various installation components for the calendar.
To access the Virto Bulk File Download setup program, download Virto.SharePoint.FileDownloader.X.X.zip and unzip it. Run the extracted Setup.exe file.
The setup wizard window will appear.
The Virto Bulk File Download wizard will perform a system check before the installation. All the system checks must be completed successfully to proceed with the installation. After the checks have been completed, click “Next.”
Check the box, “I accept the terms in the License Agreement,” and click “Next.”
Select the web application(s) where you want to install the product.
You must be logged in to the SharePoint server with a Site Collection Administrator account to activate Bulk File Download automatically.
Сlick “Next.” Click “Close” to complete the installation.

If you are trying to install the web part on a SharePoint 2019 server, you may get the following error while adding it to your site: “Sorry, apps are turned off. If you know who runs the server, tell them to enable apps.”

Apps are not enabled in your farm
Ensure you have apps enabled in your SharePoint 2019 farm.
Subscription service is not setup
The first and most likely problem is that the subscription service is not configured in your farm.
Please configure it.
The app management service is not associated with your web application
Make sure the app management service application is associated with the web application where you want to add the SPFx web part.
App URL is not configured
If you have not configured the app URLs, please ensure you have given values to App Domain and App Prefix in your App Store settings.
When you have installed and activated Bulk File Download by Virto, you can use it as either a web part on a SharePoint page or an additional feature in the “Actions” on the ribbon.
When you choose the “Bulk Download” option, you can download all necessary files from the document library or list. You can download all files or selected items only in a zip archive.
Click “Bulk Download” to see all files of the chosen document library in tree view.
You can apply other views to the chosen document library.
Use the “Archive options” setting to specify the archive folder name and keep the folder structure.
You can choose files to download or download all files from the library. Click “Download” when you have ticked all the necessary files.
To uninstall the component, follow these steps:
Double-click the Setup.exe file extracted from the downloaded Virto.SharePoint.FileDownloader.X.X.zip file.
The program will perform the system checks again. Once that has been completed, the program will prompt you to repair or remove the solution. Select “Remove” and click “Next.”
If you already use Bulk File Download by Virto and need to upgrade it to the latest version, download the .zip file from http://www.virtosoftware.com. Unzip the file and run setup.exe as described in the Installing the Bulk File Download web part section.
In step 3, check the box “Upgrade” and click “Next.”
You can select files for downloading by using custom filters in the “Filter view.”
Using the tree view, you can select files from subfolders for downloading.
When you have installed and activated Bulk File Download by Virto, you can use it as the web part on a SharePoint site page.
To add it as a web part, switch to “Edit page” mode, choose “Insert” on the ribbon, and click “Add web part.” Select “Virto Bulk File Download” in the list of Virto solutions and click “Add.”
Use the fast search view to quickly find files for downloading.
Select the “Fast search” view. You will see the message that the option is not configured.
Enable fast search under “Settings –> Site settings –> Virto Bulk File Downloader Settings.”
With the SharePoint Bulk File Download web part, you can set a size limit for downloading files as an archive. The limit can be set on three levels: for a farm, for a site in a site collection, or a list.
To define the size limit for a SharePoint farm, go to “Central Administration” and open the Virto Bulk File Downloader settings. Set the size in megabytes.
To define the size limit for a SharePoint site in a site collection, open the site settings in “Site Administration” and click “Virto Bulk Downloader Settings.” Uncheck “Always follow farm settings” and specify the limit.
To set the limit for a SharePoint list, open the list settings and click “Virto Bulk Downloader Settings” in the “General Settings” block. Uncheck “Follow web settings” and define the limit.
With taxonomy picker, you can search for files by metadata. Activate this feature in “Settings –> Site settings –> Virto Bulk File Downloader Settings.”
On the web part page, click “Edit" and ”Edit Web Part”.
Select a data source (a SharePoint library or list) to display its files in the web part. Select the default view for the web part page.
Choose custom views that will be available to select in the web part. If values are not selected, all views will be displayed.
Enable or disable other views (filter view, fast search view, taxonomy picker view), that will be used to specify files for download. You can find the examples of these views in the Bulk File Download as a feature section. You can also specify the view (including custom views) for search within fast search view.
Define the maximum size of files for download; “0” means no size limitation.
Select the field that will be displayed as item title.
Tick “Enable link on file” to redirect users to a file when clicking on the file name.
Select whether to display file size.
Define the item count displayed on the web part by default; “0” means no count limitation.
When you're ready, save the web part settings by clicking "OK" or "Apply."
