The License Manager is the tool used to activate licenses for VirtoSoftware components and to display the current subscription status of these components. It is included in the installation package for each VirtoSoftware product.
Typically, the License Manager does not require manual installation, as it is installed automatically with the product. However, it may need to be manually updated. To do this, navigate to the Virto.WebLicenseManager folder and follow the installation instructions.
If you have purchased multiple products, each must be activated separately. The activation process is the same for all components. If you have purchased a Virto ONE License, it only needs to be activated once.

First, click on "Virto ONE License".

Click on "Subscriptions" to view all licenses of Virto products and their current subscription status.

There are two methods of license activation: manual activation (offline) and online activation. You can choose either option depending on the availability of an internet connection at the time of activation.
The actions described in this instructions apply to the SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SE.
The License Manager is included in the .zip archive prepared for your component's installation. Please unzip and install your component to begin the activation process.
To activate the license, navigate to Central Administration and find Virtosoftware Web License Manager. Click on "Products".
Here, you will see all the installed products. In this example, only the Virto Calendar is installed.
On the right side of the screen, you can view the current License Manager version and the details of the person in charge. If your server is connected to the internet, this person will be notified of any installed Virto product updates.
The first time you log in, the Contact information fields will be blank, and a window will pop up asking you to enter your details. Enter them and click "Save".
Click on the product name to open the license activation page.
Virto ONE License activation is a quick and simple process, whether you're online or offline. Follow the steps described in the next chapters to get your license activated in a few minutes.
First, click Offline activation.
Then email our technical support team with your serial number and machine code to receive your activation code and subscription key.
Once you have the necessary information, enter it and click Activate offline.
If everything is correct, you will see the message "Subscription is active" and the License Status will show as "Activated."
Select the available server for activation, then enter the serial number we emailed you after purchase, and click "Activate online."
If everything is correct, you will see the message "Subscription is active" and the License Status will show as "Activated."
We only activate Web Front End servers.
If your server is offline, click Offline activation.
Enter the serial number we emailed you after purchase, along with your machine code, and click "Get code".
Copy the activation code.
Paste it into the Activation code field on the VirtoSoftware Product Registration page.
Also, enter your Serial number in the corresponding field, and click "Activate offline".
If everything is correct, you will see the message "Subscription is active" and the License Status will show as "Activated."
Then, visit the offline activation page at .
To renew your subscription, you should click the "Deactivate" button and request a new subscription key and/or serial number from our support team at support@virtosoftware.com or through this form. Then, follow the steps outlined in the instructions above that apply to your situation.
If the renewed subscription doesn’t appear instantly with a new subscription expiry date, don’t worry—it will show up after some time. You can also update manually by clicking "click here" on the yellow bar and waiting for a minute. If it still doesn’t appear, please contact our support team at support@virtosoftware.com or through this form.
