This activity creates a new navigation link in either the Top Link Bar or Quick Launch.

## **SharePoint Workflow Designer Phrase**

Create navigation link **web address** with **description** in **this heading** in **Quick Launch** at **current site URL**

**Parameters**


| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| web address | URL that points to content. |
| description | **Optional**. Display name for the navigation node. |
| this heading | **Optional**. Name of the parent heading for Quick Launch navigation. Examples: Site, Pictures, etc. |
| Quick Launch | Select the navigation type:; - **Quick Launch** - Create a new link in Quick Launch navigation.; - **Top Link Bar** - Create a new link in Top Link Bar navigation. |
| current site URL | **Optional**. The URL of the site where the navigation item is being created. Default is the current site. |
