Licensing and languages

This page describes what Virto Tab Navigation shows during the trial and when the license needs attention, and in which languages it shows its texts. To activate a license, see License activation.

Trial and license messages

During the trial, and when a demo key or a Virto ONE subscription is about to end, Virto Tab Navigation shows a message above the tabs and at the top of the Tabs Settings panel. A trial or a warning is shown in an orange bar, an invalid license in a red bar. The message isn’t shown while the page is in edit mode.

Orange bar above the tabs: You are using the Trial Version of Virto Tabs Navigation

The messages are the same in all Virto products; see License messages in Virto products.

When the license isn’t valid

  • On modern pages, the license message is shown in place of the tabs.
  • The Tabs Settings panel still opens, so you can review the configuration, but Save is unavailable. Its hint says “Saving is disabled because the license is not valid”.

Activate a license or apply a demo key in Central Administration to use the product again. See License activation.

Languages

Virto Tab Navigation shows the Tabs Settings panel, its messages, the note shown in edit mode and the classic web part settings in English, German, French or Russian, following the language of the site. On sites in other languages it uses English. The first tab of a new web part is named in the language of the site. The tab names you enter are shown as you typed them, in every language.
