# Settings levels and panel appearance

## Settings levels

Each operation (Upload, Edit, Download, Delete, Copy and Move, Check In/Out) has its own settings on four levels:

| Level | Where | Who can save |
|---|---|---|
| Farm | Central Administration home page → **Virto Multiple File Operations settings** | Farm administrators |
| Site | **Site Settings** → **Virto Multiple File Operations** | Site collection administrators |
| List | **Library settings** → **Virto Multiple File … Settings** | Users who can manage the list |
| Web part | Web part → **Configure Web Part** (classic: **Edit Web Part** → **Configure WebPart**) → **Bulk Settings** | Users who can edit the page |

By default each level follows the level above: **Always follow farm settings** on the site level, **Always follow web settings** on the list and web part levels. Clear the checkbox to set the options for this level.

## Panel appearance

The settings of every operation have a **Panel appearance** section:

- **Panel size** — **Small**, **Medium** or **Large**: the size of the panel when it opens.
- **Panel heading** — a custom heading shown at the top of the panel. Leave it empty to use the default heading: the name of the panel, such as **Virto Upload**, followed by the product version.

Users can also change the size of an open panel with the two buttons in its upper-left corner.
