# Print a calendar in Virto Calendar App

You can print what the calendar shows, in any view, or a list of its events. In the **Week** and **Work week** views you can also print several weeks at once, each week on its own page.

## Print the current view

1. Open the calendar and switch to the view and the period you want on paper. Filters and search that are applied to the view also apply to the printout.
2. Select the **Print** icon in the calendar toolbar.
3. The **Print** window shows the view, the **Date range** that will be printed and a preview.
4. To print a list of the events instead of the calendar grid, turn on **Print agenda**. The list shows each event's title, time, categories and a mark for recurring events. Turn on **Print details** as well to add the fields that the event's tooltip shows.
5. Select **Print**. Your browser's print dialog opens, where you choose a printer or save the page as a PDF.

Each page starts with the calendar name, the date range and the calendar's sources in their colours.

## Print several weeks

In the **Week** and **Work week** views, the **Print** window has more options:

- **From** and **To**: every week from the week of **From** to the week of **To** is printed on its own page. **Weeks** shows how many pages that makes.
- You can print up to 26 weeks at once. For a longer range, **Print** is unavailable: split it into several printouts.
- **Layout**: **Standard**, **Horizontal agenda** or **Vertical agenda**. The layout applies while **Print agenda** is off.

A week with many all-day events is scaled down to fit one sheet, to no less than 80 %. The **Work week** view always starts on Monday. In these two views the page header also shows the week number.

## Good to know

- The **Print** icon is not shown on phones. Print from a computer.
